La Française des Jeux opens lottery studios to the public
La Française des Jeux (FDJ) opened its lottery drawing television studios to the public for the first time as part of the European Heritage Days. The event, held on September 19 and 20, saw 900 participants visiting the highly secure facilities.
Julien Challet, head of drawing operations for FDJ, noted that the visits were fully booked within 30 minutes. The initiative commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Loto, which first launched in its current form in May 1976. FDJ United CEO Stéphane Pallez indicated that these studio tours may become a recurring event due to high public interest.
The tour included access to host dressing rooms and various sets, including one featuring the second-largest XR wall in Europe. To ensure transparency, FDJ utilizes equipment verified by third-party certifiers and inspected by judicial officers before every draw.
