La Furia Ilustrada fair returns to GAM in Chile

The second edition of La Furia Ilustrada will take place from October 9 to 11 at the Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral (GAM) in Chile. The event is dedicated to illustrated books, comics, manga, and graphic arts, offering free admission to the public.

This edition features more than 170 exhibitors, representing a 70% increase compared to the previous year. Participants include illustrators, independent publishers, bookstores, and graphic projects. The program includes over 50 activities, such as workshops, book signings, and discussions focused on the professionalization of graphic artists.

Among the international guests is Russian visual artist Anton Gudim, creator of ‘Yes, But’. Gudim is scheduled to sign books on Friday, October 9, and participate in a conversation on Sunday alongside Chilean illustrator Maliki and journalist Rodrigo Castillo. The event aims to serve as a meeting point for the growing community of creators and enthusiasts of visual storytelling.
