LA Galaxy defeat Minnesota United 3-2

The LA Galaxy defeated Minnesota United 3-2 in a critical Western Conference matchup. Marco Reus led the Galaxy with one goal and one assist, helping the team secure the victory in St. Paul.

Minnesota initially held a 2-1 lead following goals from Marcus Caldeira and a penalty by Kelvin Yeboah. However, the Galaxy mounted a comeback in the second half. Pablo Ruiz opened the scoring for Los Angeles in the 12th minute, and after Minnesota took the lead, João Klauss scored a header in the 76th minute assisted by a Reus free kick. Reus then scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute after redirecting a cross from Lucas Calegari.

The win moves the Galaxy to 8-10-9, keeping them in the hunt for a playoff spot. Minnesota, now at 7-11-8, has lost four consecutive matches and remains winless in its last five games.
