La Gauchita Cumbiera survives car rollover on Route 12

A vehicle carrying tropical music singer Paola Belén Durán, known as ‘La Gauchita Cumbiera’, overturned on National Route 12 near Carolina, Corrientes, on Sunday night. The accident occurred around 8:30 PM near Laguna Pucú when the driver, José Andrés Delmonte, reportedly attempted to avoid a capybara crossing the road, causing the Volkswagen Vento to lose control and flip.

Five people were involved in the crash, including the six-month pregnant singer, her two-year-old son, and musicians Enzo Nicolás Ayala and Luis Alberto Ayala. Emergency responders, including local firefighters and a passing nurse, assisted at the scene before the victims were transported to the Hospital Regional de Goya for medical evaluation.

Initial reports indicate that the occupants are out of danger and have not sustained serious injuries. The singer later issued a statement via social media to reassure her followers regarding the health of her family.
