La Gomera offers 250,000 euros in subsidies for taxi sector

The Cabildo de La Gomera has announced that the application period remains open for subsidies intended to support the island's taxi sector. The fund, totaling 250,000 euros, aims to cover various operational expenses to ensure the continuity of transport services across the island.

Taxi license holders can apply for up to 3,900 euros per person, provided they justify their expenses and meet the regulatory requirements. Eligible costs include insurance policies, fuel, vehicle maintenance and repairs, Social Security contributions, and fiscal or labor advisory services.

Interested applicants must submit their requests through the Cabildo de La Gomera's electronic office by Friday, September 18. In a previous round of aid, approximately 248,000 euros were distributed to 54 professional taxi licenses.
