La Gossa Sorda performs farewell concert in Pego

The Valencian band La Gossa Sorda concluded their musical career with a final concert titled ‘L’últim aquelarre’ in their hometown of Pego. Approximately 20,000 people attended the event, marking the end of a reunion tour that saw the group perform for over 200,000 fans across various locations in 2026.

The performance included a tribute to founding member and guitarist Jordi Oltra, who passed away in 2015. The evening also featured musical guests such as La Maria, Quinto, and members of La Raíz. Beyond the music, the event served as a platform for social and political advocacy, with the band and attendees expressing support for public education, the Valencian language, and healthcare.

The farewell follows a seven-month tour that included stops in Barcelona, Brussels, and several other Spanish cities. Vocalist Josep Nadal confirmed that there are no plans for the group to continue performing after this definitive conclusion to their three-decade career.
