La Guajira security forces deploy checkpoints on main highways

Soldiers from the Cartagena Medium Infantry Battalion, in coordination with the National Police, have implemented a permanent security deployment on the main highways of La Guajira.

These security operations are concentrated in the municipalities of Manaure, Riohacha, and Dibulla. Checkpoints have been established to conduct inspections of individuals and vehicle searches. The initiative aims to strengthen the presence of public forces in these road corridors to prevent crimes and ensure the safety and mobility of residents, transporters, and visitors.
