La Hermida gorge and Mexican beaches highlighted in travel news
In Spain, the La Hermida gorge in western Cantabria is highlighted as a significant natural corridor. Stretching approximately 21 kilometers, it is considered the longest gorge in Spain. The Deva River flows through limestone walls, creating a dramatic landscape accessible via the N-621 highway, which serves as a gateway to the Liébana valley.
In Mexico, six beaches have been recognized among the top 20 in the Americas in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026. Tulum, located in Quintana Roo, secured second place in the continental ranking. Mexico's Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, noted that these distinctions confirm the country's continued appeal to international travelers.
