La Hoya Ski Center hosts Bajada de Luces nighttime event

The La Hoya Ski Center in Esquel hosted a new edition of the ‘Bajada de Luces’ event, bringing together more than 100 participants for a nighttime descent. The event drew a large crowd of families, visitors, and mountain community members.

Participants included instructors from the La Hoya Ski and Snowboard School, various club members, mountain staff, and members of the Adapted Ski Association. Chubut Minister of Tourism and Protected Areas, Diego Lapenna, attended the event on behalf of the provincial government.

To facilitate the event, pedestrian ascent was provided free of charge starting at 17:00. The descent began at 20:00 from the Plateau area toward the 1600 altitude mark, creating a visual spectacle on the mountain.
