La Irenita and La Z Kazak qualify for Tortugas and Argentine Polo Opens

La Irenita and La Z Kazak have secured qualification for the Tortugas Open and the Argentine Polo Open following the conclusion of the Torneo Clasificatorio por las Copas Remonta & Veterinaria on October 2.

In the Zone A final, La Irenita defeated Velay with a score of 14-12. Despite a strong performance by Velay’s Facundo Sola and an 8-8 tie at the end of the fifth chukka, La Irenita regained control in the sixth chukka through goals by Pablo and Polito MacDonough. Matías McDonough Jr. also played a significant role in the victory.

In Zone B, La Z Kazak advanced after a competitive match against La Dolfina II. The tournament, held at the Argentine Association of Polo headquarters in Pilar, serves as a gateway to the Argentine Triple Crown, with the winners earning spots in both the Tortugas and Palermo opens.
