La Laguna and San Antonio leaders strengthen business and academic ties

Business and academic leaders from the La Laguna region in Mexico and San Antonio, Texas, held a working meeting to strengthen ties and identify strategic opportunities in trade, investment, and economic development.

Organized by Coparmex Laguna in coordination with Fomento Económico de La Laguna (Fomec) and the Torreón Economic Development Directorate, the event focused on creating a long-term roadmap. Key areas of cooperation include commercial exchange, investment attraction, talent retention, higher education, innovation, and the strengthening of industrial supply chains.

Participants included representatives from Greater: SATX and the Trinity University School of Business. The meeting aimed to facilitate direct contact between companies interested in commercial agreements and to leverage the productive strengths of both regions, particularly in industrial supply, specialized training, and technology.
