La Laguna begins renovations on closed park cafeterias

The La Laguna City Council has begun renovation work on the cafeterias located in La Vega and La Constitución parks. These facilities have remained closed since early 2016 and have suffered from vandalism and deterioration over the years.

Municipal officials aim to restore these services to two of the municipality's most frequented green spaces. The council is exploring an inclusive management model, potentially awarding the operation to a company or entity specializing in the labor insertion of people with disabilities to create adapted job opportunities.
