La Laguna coordinates new school year with educational centers
The La Laguna City Council has resumed working meetings with various members of the local educational community to coordinate the new school year. These meetings involve representatives from 27 infant and primary education centers, 20 private and subsidized centers, 14 secondary education institutes, two adult education centers, and parent associations.
Councilors Sergio Eiroa (Education and Youth) and Fran Hernández (Municipal Services and Citizen Participation) are participating in these sessions to facilitate direct communication with management teams, teachers, and families. The goal is to share academic planning, identify specific needs, and coordinate municipal services that impact school environments, such as cleaning, waste collection, and the maintenance of public spaces and playgrounds near educational facilities.
