La Laguna opens new parking facility near La Vega Park

The La Laguna City Council has opened a new parking facility located near La Vega Park, adjacent to Avenida República de Argentina. The project aims to expand parking options near the city's historic center and residential areas.

The facility provides a total of 37 spaces, distributed as follows: 23 for conventional vehicles, eight for electric or hybrid vehicles equipped with charging points, four for motorcycles, and two reserved for persons with reduced mobility.

Construction work involved removing old pavement, applying new asphalt, and improving exterior fencing. The project also included the undergrounding of necessary cabling to support the electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The site is situated near high-activity public areas, including the La Vega Park sports and leisure facilities.
