La Laguna Tenerife signs Vince Hunter for 2026-27 season

La Laguna Tenerife has secured the signing of American center Vince Hunter for the 2026-27 season. Hunter, a 32-year-old standing 2.03 meters tall, joins the club following a campaign with Lokomotiv Kuban, where he averaged 11.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Hunter’s arrival marks a return to the BKT EuroCup, a competition in which he previously played for Virtus Bologna and Metropolitans 92. His professional career includes stints with Zenit Saint Petersburg, UNICS Kazan, AEK Athens, and the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA.

With Hunter's addition and the return of Kyle Guy, La Laguna Tenerife has reached a historic high for American-born players in its roster. Six players currently registered in the ACB are from the United States, a figure surpassed only by FC Barcelona in the Liga Endesa.
