Argentina's political landscape is shifting as the ruling La Libertad Avanza (LLA) and the PRO party initiate formal negotiations to coordinate for the 2027 elections. A new political working table has been established, with meetings scheduled every 15 days to discuss legislative agendas and potential electoral alliances. This movement includes efforts to unify parliamentary support and explore future candidacies.

In a move to strengthen ties with provincial leaders, Chief of Cabinet Diego Santilli and Economy Minister Luis Caputo traveled to Catamarca. During this visit, they met with Governors Raúl Jalil of Catamarca and Elías Suárez of Santiago del Estero to advance regional infrastructure. Key agreements were signed to launch the Albigasta Aqueduct and Water Treatment Plants network, a project intended to provide potable water to thousands of families. Additionally, agreements were reached to delegate the management of certain national road stretches to the Catamarca province.

Simultaneously, the national government is seeking legislative support to suspend the Primarias, Abiertas, Simultáneas y Obligatorias (PASO) electoral system. While the administration claims to be close to securing the necessary votes in the Senate through alliances with the UCR and other blocs, the Peronist opposition is organizing strategies to block the reform. Meanwhile, LLA has expanded its territorial presence by inaugurating a new party headquarters in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, aimed at training new leaders for the Buenos Aires province.
