La Libertad Avanza holds provincial meeting for Buenos Aires councilors
More than 400 councilors from the La Libertad Avanza party gathered in Avellaneda for the first Provincial Meeting of Councilors of the Buenos Aires Province. Led by Sebastián Pareja and Alejandro Carrancio, the meeting focused on political organization and the goal of displacing Kirchnerism in local municipalities.
Key policy discussions centered on reducing municipal taxes, which party members described as abusive in many districts. In Lanús, councilor Ignacio Moroni highlighted the urgency of lowering these rates and expressed the party's opposition to the use of automated traffic fines, labeling them a revenue-raising tool rather than a safety measure. The gathering also served as a strategic step toward building political structures for the 2027 elections.
