La Libertad Avanza leaders accused of 15,000-dollar fraud in Chaco

Juan Carlos Valiente, a Malvinas War veteran and member of the La Libertad Avanza party in Chaco, has filed a criminal complaint against provincial party leadership for alleged fraud and unlawful retention of 15,000 dollars.

Valiente claims he provided the cash as a loan on December 22, 2023, with the promise of repayment within one to two months. He alleges the funds were intended to cover the rent of an apartment in Buenos Aires for then-elect national deputy Carlos García. The complaint names Alfredo “Capi” Rodríguez, president of La Libertad Avanza in Chaco, and treasurer Jorge Alfredo Moreno, charging them with fraud and unlawful retention.
