La Libertad Avanza reshuffles leadership in Buenos Aires deputies
The La Libertad Avanza (LLA) party has completed a leadership reshuffle within its bloc in the Buenos Aires provincial Chamber of Deputies. Juan Osaba, a leader from La Plata aligned with provincial party president Sebastián Pareja, has assumed the presidency of the LLA bloc.
In a negotiated exchange of roles, Agustín Romo, the former bloc president, will transition to the position of Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies. This reorganization follows months of planning intended to resolve internal frictions and consolidate the influence of the party leadership, including the influence of Karina Milei.
The LLA bloc, which consists of twenty deputies, aims to focus its legislative agenda on issues such as public health, insecurity, tax elimination, and the implementation of the Single Paper Ballot (BUP). Osaba stated that the move “only orders what was already working in practice” as the party seeks to advance the reforms promoted by the national administration.
