La Maison des Maternelles launches tenth season with new format

The parenting program “La Maison des Maternelles” has launched its tenth season on France 2 with a significant format overhaul. Moving away from its previous daily morning slot, the show will now air as a weekly 65-minute live broadcast every Friday at 9:30 AM, supplemented by one-minute segments from Monday to Thursday.

Marie Portolano takes over hosting duties from Agathe Lecaron, who has transitioned to the “Télématin” team. Portolano will co-host the program alongside Houssem Loussaïef. The show maintains its panel of experts, including midwife Anna Roy and pediatrician Jules Fougères.

Reflecting on her initial period with the program, Portolano noted the challenges of managing declining television audiences during a period of structural changes. While she expressed personal difficulty with the transition, she highlighted growing success on digital platforms.
