La Mancha Denomination of Origin announces 2026 Solidarity Awards

The La Mancha Denomination of Origin Regulatory Council is preparing for the 2026 Solidarity Awards, scheduled for November 5 in Madrid. The event will take place at the auditorium of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and will be hosted by journalist Lorena García.

For over 20 years, these awards have combined professional recognition with social commitment. Each award includes a 5,000 euro endowment, which the recipients choose to donate to an NGO, foundation, or association of their choice. This mechanism allows the awards to provide direct economic support and visibility to various charitable organizations.

Prior to the evening ceremony, a wine gallery featuring a selection of La Mancha wines will be hosted in the hall of the Reina Sofía Museum to promote the region's protected wines.
