La Mole SuperCon to debut in Mexico City in 2027

La Mole Convention and AniMole have announced a merger to create La Mole SuperCon, a large-scale pop culture event. The inaugural edition is scheduled to take place from March 12 to 14, 2027, at the International Exhibition and Convention Center (CIEC) of the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

The new convention aims to integrate various interests, including comics, film, television, dubbing, anime, manga, and video games, under a single identity. La Mole Convention, founded in 1996 by Ignacio Septién, typically attracts approximately 35,000 attendees per edition, while AniMole has specialized in Japanese and Asian culture.

Pre-sale tickets are currently available through Boletia. Pricing options include a 3-day pass plus a commemorative kit for $3,500, a standard 3-day pass for $1,700, and a Friends Pass for $1,200. Individual daily passes and Kids’ Passes are also available, with prices starting from $200. The organizers plan to reveal the first guests and activities in the coming weeks.
