La Molina ski station upgrades La Placeta and Pedró parking

The La Molina mountain station, operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) under the Pirineu365 brand, has completed a major renovation of La Placeta. The work added accessible routes with ramps, replaced over 1,700 sqm of paving, installed energy‑efficient LED lighting, and introduced garden and stone‑gabion walls that blend with the alpine setting. These improvements aim to boost safety, comfort and environmental quality for visitors year‑round.

A second phase scheduled for the summer will see the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Pedró parking lot. The project will upgrade infrastructure, enhance mobility and security, and adapt the area to the growing number of users during winter and summer seasons.

The upgrades are part of a broader modernization plan to meet rising visitor demand and improve the overall experience at the ski resort.
