Léa Mysius releases ‘Histoires de la nuit’ film adaptation

Director Léa Mysius has released her third feature film, ‘Histoires de la nuit’, an adaptation of the novel by Laurent Mauvignier. The film is described as a gripping rural thriller and a dark family tragedy that explores the transmission of violence and secrets perceived by children.

Set on an isolated farm, the story follows Nora, Thomas, and their daughter Ida, alongside their neighbor Cristina, an Italian painter. The plot centers on a surprise birthday celebration for Nora that is interrupted by three men with malicious intentions. The production features a cast including Monica Bellucci, Hafsia Herzi, Benoît Magimel, and Bastien Bouillon.
