La Nucía hosts international youth boxing tournament

The Boxam International boxing tournament is taking place in La Nucía, Spain, from September 1 to September 5. The event features 250 young boxers from 21 different countries competing in the under-15, under-17, and under-19 categories.

Organized by the Royal Spanish Boxing Federation in collaboration with World Boxing and European Boxing, the tournament aims to promote La Nucía as a center for sports. The competition includes both male and female participants and is expected to provide an economic boost to the local region through increased tourism and overnight stays.
