La Nucía hosts XIII Badminton Campus for Spanish Federation

The Pabellón Muixara in La Nucía, Spain, hosted the XIII Badminton Campus of the Spanish Badminton Federation for a week. Fifty junior players (U13‑U19) from 31 clubs across ten Spanish regions, as well as athletes from Ireland and Sweden, took part in the high‑performance program “Team España Futuro”. Danish trainer Frederik Søgaard led technical sessions, while the national U19 squad used the camp to prepare for the upcoming European Junior Championships.

Local officials, including Mayor Bernabé Cano and Sports Councilor Sergio Villalba, visited the camp together with federation director Arturo Ruiz and the coaching staff. The event highlighted La Nucía’s role as a recurring venue for national and international badminton development.
