La Nucía implements safe festival itinerary for Festes d’Agost

For the third consecutive year, La Nucía is implementing a ‘Safe Festive Itinerary’ during the Festes d’Agost celebrations. This initiative establishes a ring of streets connecting the Carpa Festera with the urban center, featuring continuous police presence to ensure the safety of attendees, particularly women, and to provide assistance in cases of harassment or aggression.

The security device, designed by the Local Police in collaboration with the departments of Citizen Security and Festivals, covers the period from August 14 to 18. The designated routes include specific streets such as Carrer Trinquet, Carrer Ferreries, Plaça Major, and others, all of which will benefit from reinforced lighting to improve visibility and safety during nighttime festivities.
