La Oreja de Van Gogh announces 2027 Mexico tour with Amaia Montero
Spanish pop group La Oreja de Van Gogh has officially announced their return to Mexico for the summer of 2027. The announcement, made via social media, confirms that the country will be a key stop during their international “Tantas cosas que contar” tour.
This tour marks a significant milestone as it features the return of original vocalist Amaia Montero, who rejoined the group in late 2025 following the departure of Leire Martínez. This reunion is the first time Montero has performed in Mexico with the band in nearly two decades, since her departure in 2007.
While specific dates, cities, and venues have not yet been disclosed, the group expressed a deep connection to the country, with member Xavier San Martín referring to Mexico as their “second home.” The tour has already seen success in Spain and is scheduled to visit other Latin American nations, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, and Ecuador, in early 2027.
