La Orotava PP denounces lack of access to municipal information

The Partido Popular (PP) in La Orotava has denounced ongoing difficulties in accessing municipal documentation and files from the local government led by Coalición Canaria (CC).

Spokesperson Ildefonso González stated that the opposition faces a constant pattern of delays and excuses when requesting reports or files necessary for their oversight and fiscalization duties. He noted that while technical staff perform their roles professionally, political decisions are being made to block or delay access to information. González emphasized that access to municipal data is a right linked to the exercise of public office and democratic control, rather than a concession from the mayor.
