La Palma advances urban development projects in Tazacorte and El Paso

The Cabildo de La Palma is advancing several urban infrastructure projects across the island through its Insular Local Development Plan (PIDL), which allocates 40 million euros to various municipalities.

In Tazacorte, an investment of 932,000 euros is being used to remodel Avenida La Constitución. The project aims to improve accessibility by creating a single-level platform in the northern zone of the avenue, addressing long-standing resident demands and reorganizing the street's layout to create an open commercial area.

In El Paso, the municipality has completed the repaving of Calle Pino Santiago with an investment of approximately 60,000 euros. This work, funded via the Cabildo de La Palma's Cooperation Plan, is part of a broader series of road improvements in the area, including Calle Panadero and Camino de Tacande, totaling an investment exceeding 315,000 euros for these specific local roadworks.
