La Palma: CC demands clarity on 100 million euro recovery funds

Coalición Canaria (CC) has formally requested that the Spanish Government clarify the status of 100 million euros allocated to the La Palma Recovery Plan. The funds were included in the 2023 General State Budgets and have been carried forward through subsequent budget extensions.

Deputy Cristina Valido submitted a written inquiry to the Ministry of Finance seeking a detailed breakdown of the execution of these funds. She specifically requested information regarding the initial credits, modifications, committed expenses, recognized obligations, and actual payments made during the 2024, 2025, and 2026 fiscal years. Valido noted that despite the budgetary allocations, the funds “never arrived,” prompting the demand for transparency regarding their current destination and real level of execution.
