La Palma hosts religious and community events

Santa Cruz de La Palma has been selected to host the XIX National Congress of Brotherhoods of Prayer in the Orchard in October 2028. The decision was finalized following the participation of the Cofradía de Nuestro Señor del Huerto in the most recent edition held in Gandía. The event is expected to highlight the religious, cultural, and patrimonial traditions of the island's Holy Week.

In a separate community initiative, La Palma del Condado will hold a solidarity event on October 31 to raise funds for the 2027 Three Kings Day celebrations. The program includes a charity lunch and an 80s-themed music festival featuring various live bands and DJs to support the local cultural association.
