La Pampa and Universidad Favaloro advance health cooperation agreement
The Ministry of Health of La Pampa and Universidad Favaloro are advancing a collaboration agreement to strengthen academic and professional exchange in the healthcare sector. Announced by Health Minister Mario Kohan during a teaching session in Jacinto Arauz, the initiative aims to facilitate professional rotations, training, and academic cooperation.
The agreement will benefit doctors, residents, and medical students from the province by providing access to specialized training, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid courses. It also envisions a reciprocal arrangement where medical professionals from the Favaloro Foundation can perform rotations within the province.
In addition to academic exchange, the partnership includes community-focused activities. Recent sessions in Jacinto Arauz involved workshops on healthy habits in schools and technical training to strengthen the regional sanitary network, involving students of medicine and nursing and health teams from surrounding localities.
