La Pampa APA conducts groundwater drilling to secure water supply

The Provincial Water Administration (APA) of La Pampa is conducting permanent drilling operations across the province to secure groundwater sources. Operating under the Ministry of Public Works and Services, the agency utilizes two specialized crews and its own machinery to meet the demands of municipalities and cooperatives.

The drilling program aims to guarantee water for human consumption, strengthen existing supply systems, and support productive projects such as irrigation. To ensure efficiency, APA professionals conduct technical evaluations before any work begins, including hydrogeological studies and vertical electrical soundings to locate optimal subsoil zones.

Currently, one crew is performing a series of drillings near Dorila to provide potable water services for General Pico.
