La Pampa Chamber of Deputies investigates Rancul baby case

The Investigative Commission of the La Pampa Chamber of Deputies has begun analyzing proceedings related to the Rancul baby case. As an initial measure, the Commission requested files and documentation from Governor Sergio Ziliotto to reconstruct the events.

The investigation seeks to determine if there were administrative irregularities or improper interventions by provincial agencies, specifically within the Subsecretaría de Niñez, Adolescencia y Familia. The Commission, led by President Sandra Fonseca, stated its goal is to ensure the protection of children and adolescents regardless of political differences. The probe is limited to executive branch actions and does not intend to review judicial decisions or adoption processes.
