La Pampa deputies expand inclusive sports bill

Provincial deputies Patricia George (FREJUPA) and Gisela Cuadrado (UCR) are expanding a legislative proposal in La Pampa to promote inclusive sports and recreation. Originally, Bill 13/2026 focused on ensuring sports access for neurodivergent children and adolescents.

Following discussions with Ceferino Almudévar, the Undersecretary of Sports, Recreation, and Social Tourism, the scope of the bill will be broadened to include people with disabilities. The Undersecretary suggested this expansion based on existing provincial programs for disability inclusion. The legislators accepted the proposal, aiming to create a more comprehensive public policy for social inclusion through sports.
