La Pampa to host first Game Jam during 2026 Book Fair

The La Pampa Secretariat of Culture and Pampa Game Devs have announced the first Game Jam to be held during the 2026 Provincial Book Fair. Scheduled from September 14 to September 27, the event is a collective creation initiative designed for individuals interested in video game development, including programmers, designers, illustrators, animators, and musicians.

Participants will work in teams to create a video game based on a prompt revealed at the start of the event. The program also includes a series of lectures featuring industry professionals from September 14 to 18 to provide tools and resources for project development. The initiative aims to explore contemporary narratives through the intersection of writing, sound, design, and interactive experiences.
