La Paz authorities report permit status for upcoming concerts

The La Paz City Council in Baja California Sur has released an update regarding the legal and safety permit status for 13 upcoming mass events and concerts promoted by private organizers. To ensure legal certainty for citizens and protect family economies, the municipal government has implemented a weekly color-coded compliance system.

According to the report, only three shows—Enjambre, Daniel Boaventura, and Yuridia—have fully completed all required administrative procedures, authorizations, and safety inspections, earning them a green status.

Eight other performances, including those by Alejandro Sanz, Julieta Venegas, Pancho Barraza, and Edith Márquez, are currently in the yellow category, meaning they have initiated administrative processes but are still undergoing review or must resolve pending civil protection and capacity requirements.

Two concerts, featuring Cristian Castro and Manuel Medrano, have been flagged with a red status because their organizers have not yet submitted any formal applications or paperwork to the municipal government.
