La Paz hosts second Entre Ríos Visual Arts Meeting

The 2nd Encuentro Entrerriano de Artes Visuales will be held in La Paz, Argentina, from 26 to 28 September. The three‑day program includes exhibitions, workshops, dialogue spaces and the open‑air Islas de Arte festival, featuring artists, artisans, musicians and a range of cultural activities.

Provincial officials highlighted the event’s goal of showcasing local artists, providing professional training and fostering exchanges among cultural workers. The opening ceremony and awards will take place on 26 September at the Municipal Library, followed by exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts and the Remansos Complex. The festival on 28 September will be staged in Parque Berón de Astrada.

Workshops will cover topics such as cultural heritage, comics, performance, photography, digital tools and textile art, coordinated by a team of local artists and curators.
