La Paz municipal projects initiate park and sports facility renovations

Municipal authorities in La Paz, Baja California Sur, have launched a rehabilitation program for 16 public parks. With an investment of 625,000 pesos, the project aims to improve safety and community use by addressing areas that had fallen into disrepair. Improvements include lighting upgrades, the construction of walkways and benches, playground rehabilitation, vegetation planting, and the installation of perimeter fencing. Specific works include building kiosks in the Centenario and Palmar III neighborhoods, installing roofing in Lagunitas, and maintaining the football field in Misiones Park.

In Badajoz, Spain, renovation works have also commenced on the sports tracks in the La Paz neighborhood. The project, costing over 56,000 euros, focuses on repairing cracks in the pavement using epoxy resin mortar and applying new acrylic and epoxy coatings. The two-month project also includes repairing perimeter fencing and removing graffiti to improve the facilities for local residents.
