La Paz tech startups reach Incubatec Demo Day

Five technology startups from La Paz reached the Demo Day stage of the first edition of Incubatec, an incubation program powered by Solydes and the Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB).

The program began with 91 applications and 23 selected teams. Of those, 14 teams reached the final stage, with five being based in La Paz. The participating projects cover various sectors of the digital economy, including SaaS, Edtech, Agrotech, Legaltech, Healthtech, and Fintech.

During the incubation process, entrepreneurs worked on problem validation, business model construction, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development, and Go-To-Market strategies. The program reported a 92% general satisfaction rate among participants across La Paz, Cochabamba, and Santa Cruz.
