La Paz to host first Adaptive Fishing Encounter in Entre Ríos

The city of La Paz, Entre Ríos, will host the first Adaptive Fishing Encounter in the province on September 9. Held at Parador Garibaldi on the Paraná River, the event is designed to promote social and sporting integration for people with disabilities.

The initiative, which has been declared of tourist interest by Emturer, features 12 specially adapted fishing stations and ramps to ensure accessibility. Participants will work in groups of up to ten, accompanied by fishing guides and therapists. The program also includes boat trips in adapted vessels, live music, and shows.

This marks the third such event in Argentina, following previous editions in Santa Fe and Corrientes. The project, led by Facundo Testi, is a non-profit effort aimed at breaking barriers and allowing people with disabilities to enjoy nature and river activities.
