La Pintana man arrested for slaughtering dog in public

Carabineros arrested a man in La Pintana, Metropolitan Region, for animal cruelty after he was caught slaughtering a dog in public. The incident occurred at the intersection of Avenida Lo Martínez and Pedro Prado.

Following reports from local residents, officers from the 41st La Pintana Police Station arrived at the scene and discovered the individual, described as a homeless man, using a grill to cook the animal. Police also recovered evidence and remains linking the man to the act. The suspect has been placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office to determine his legal status and subsequent judicial proceedings.
