La Plata Banking Association to hold leadership elections

More than 1,200 members of the La Plata regional branch of the Banking Association are scheduled to elect new authorities on November 25. The election will feature two competing lists to define the local leadership of the union, which is headed nationally by Sergio Palazzo.

One of the competing groups, Lista 13 Verde, is led by Martín Igartúa, an employee of Banco Nación. The group proposes a management model focused on transparency, modernization, and increased member participation. Their platform includes labor advisory clinics, mental health and wellness programs, and training in artificial intelligence and digitalization to address new work modalities in the sector.
