La Plata court lifts injunction on Los Hornos land plot

A judicial ruling in La Plata has lifted a precautionary injunction regarding a specific plot of land in the Los Hornos residential complex, known as Decano Funes or Los Hornos V+E. The decision by the Civil and Commercial Court No. 25 modifies a previous order that had halted construction, fencing, and the installation of posts in the area.

The lifting of the injunction applies exclusively to plot 9, which is owned by the Sociedad Civil Propietarios V+E 5° Barrio Parque Los Hornos. While some neighbors had sought to preserve the area as green space, the owners maintain that the land is private property and are currently undergoing a title regularization process with the Municipalidad de La Plata. The court has mandated the use of safety strips in areas where unauthorized additional works are detected.
