La Plata family faces crisis after motorcycle accident

A family in La Plata is facing severe economic and personal hardship following a traffic accident on July 8. A motorcycle carrying a couple was struck by a car performing a reversing maneuver without proper signaling.

The female passenger sustained multiple fractures requiring surgery, including the installation of plates and screws. Beyond her physical injuries, she requires ongoing care for type 1 diabetes. The accident also rendered the family's motorcycle unusable, which served as a vital tool for income.

The family reports accumulating debt and fears losing their home due to unpaid rent. They have also stated that the driver's insurance company rejected their claim. The legal case is currently being processed by UFI N° 10 in La Plata.
