La Pobla de Farnals prepares traditional gastronomic festival

The municipality of La Pobla de Farnals is preparing for its traditional gastronomic event during the Festes Majors. On Saturday, September 12, the Plaça de la Generalitat will host a large-scale outdoor cooking session led by master cook Víctor Salvador Iborra.

The event involves the preparation of traditional 'calderes' using local, zero-kilometer ingredients such as rice, beans, meat, and saffron. In a previous edition, the team prepared 35 cauldrons providing 7,000 rations. The process begins early in the morning to ensure the meal is ready for distribution by midday.
