La Pérgola de las Flores returns with renewed production

The Chilean theatrical classic ‘La Pérgola de las Flores’ is returning to the stage with a renewed production 65 years after its premiere. Directed by Gustavo Becerra and Germán Silva, this new version by Kolectivo Mutante aims to modernize the work through contemporary staging and a strong comedic focus while preserving its original essence.

The production features a cast of over 18 artists and includes live music. Originally written by Isidora Aguirre with music by Francisco Flores del Campo, the play is considered a cornerstone of national dramaturgy, exploring urban transformations and social tensions in Chile.

Produced by 4 Parlantes, the performance is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at 20:00 in the Aula Magna of Liceo Manuel de Salas.
