La Reforma hosts ‘4 Ríos’ trail running event to promote water resource awareness
The town of La Reforma hosted a new edition of ‘4 Ríos, Un Desafío Original’, a trail running event that combined sport and nature to highlight the importance of water resources in La Pampa.
Approximately 300 runners participated in the event, which served as a platform to raise awareness regarding the Salado River basin. This hydrographic system spans five provinces and is strategically vital for downstream communities in La Pampa. The initiative aims to use sports as a tool for environmental consciousness and regional identity.
The event was attended by various provincial and local officials, including the Secretary of Tourism of La Pampa, Saúl Echeveste, and the Secretary of Water Resources, José Gobbi. The next scheduled event in the series will take place on November 8 in Gobernador Duval, along the banks of the Colorado River.
