La Ribera fishing tournament sets participation record

The seventh edition of the Copa Presidente Sport Fishing Tournament in La Ribera, Los Cabos, set a participation record with 69 teams. The event featured a total prize pool of 1.2 million pesos, consisting of 300,000 pesos in guaranteed prizes and 900,000 pesos in jackpots.

Supported by the State Government and the XV Ayuntamiento of Los Cabos, the competition included categories for marlin, dorado, and tuna. Local authorities stated the tournament aims to position La Ribera as a sport fishing landmark and boost the local economy in the northern zone of the region.
